A few years ago, since stopping full time violin making, I worked on a project to develop a ‘Fidl’. Let’s face it, we all use the term, but in reality there is no such thing, it’s just another name for a violin.
Basically it’s a much quicker construction than a violin and produces a surprisingly good sound.
This one I’m prepared to sell is the Octave version of it. I only made the two octave samples, the other one I’m keeping.
